Adriatic Sea Tourism Report – which first edition had been presented during Adriatic Sea Forum 2013 in Trieste – is a research study elaborated by Risposte Turismo which intend to become a working tool with which to consider issues and long-term strategic choices, to define and build a framework for the future of maritime tourism in the Adriatic.
Adriatic Sea Tourism Report has the main aim of analysing the flow, dimensions, direction and behaviour of tourists and tourism – for cruise, ferry, sail and yacht – in the area that interest the seven countries that face onto this Sea.
The Adriatic Sea Tourism Report is a focus on tourist traffic in the Adriatic, which is both an indicator of the results of everything that has been carried out in terms of investment, products and promotion, and a starting point to see and analyse a series of fundamental benefits for the economy and employment activated in the involved areas. It analyses cruise, ferry boats and hydrofoils passenger traffic in Adriatic ports considering both variations over the last year as well as medium-term trends; moreover the report offers a complete and updated shot on boating tourism in the considered area, presenting the offer side with the mapping of marinas and a framework of the demand one thank to the survey done on a representative sample of charter companies and marinas.
The document is mainly made up of an examination of the movement of tourists by sea, recording flows, dimensions, directions and behaviors in tables, graphs and maps with analysis and comments on maritime tourism in Adriatic.
