On Friday 17th May 2013, on the occasion of the gala dinner of Internautica, the International Boat Show which take place in Portoroz (Slovenia), at its 18 edition this year, Adriatic Sea Forum has been appointed as the best adriatic nautical project of the year.Within the competition Adriatic Boat of the Year, a jury composed of 10 experts from the Adriatic area, after assigning the awards to the best sail and motor boats, awarded the special categories, respectively: Adriatic Product of the Year, Adriatic Personality of the Year and Adriatic Nautical Project of the Year.
In this important last-mentioned category, which every year award the project distinguished itself for innovation, development or promotion of nautical sector in Adriatic area, has been awarded Adriatic Sea Forum: as a result of an unanimous vote of the jury chaired by Jurij Korenc, founder of Internautica and President of IFBSO (International Federation of Boat Show Organisers), the Adriatic Sea Forum was officially proclaimed as an event able to establish connection among countries of the Adriatic and to promote within the area transport and tourism solutions, combining in this way maritime products and tourism.The award prove the quality of the event that, at its first edition, was able to presents more than 40 speakers coming from Albania, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia and more than 250 operators representing ship owners, cruise and ferry terminals, marinas, ports, charter companies, tour operators, shipbuilders and travel agents.To get more information visit the Press Area.
